Microbial Monitoring in UAE Cleanrooms — Bulk Delivery of FKC-1B Airborne Particle Microbial Samplers
Market Background
As a medical and pharmaceutical hub in the Middle East, the UAE is experiencing rapid growth in its domestic pharmaceutical manufacturing and life sciences industries. To comply with stringent international GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and local health regulatory requirements, pharmaceutical companies in the UAE are imposing increasingly rigorous standards for microbial contamination control in cleanrooms. Within high-standard environmental monitoring systems, precise and compliant airborne microbial sampling equipment has become a core instrument for ensuring aseptic production environments.
Customer and Application Scenario
In this project, the UAE customer is a local manufacturer of medical consumables and pharmaceutical products that required fixed-volume microbial sampling at multiple points within its core cleanroom areas. The application scenario required the sampling equipment to maintain a constant sampling flow rate to ensure data consistency across different batches. At the same time, the material of the sampling head needed to support frequent physical sterilization procedures in order to eliminate the risk of cross-contamination within the clean area.
Our Solution
In response to the customer’s strict requirements for multi-point monitoring and high-frequency sterilization, Suzhou Sujing provided a standard delivery solution of 4 units of the FKC-1B airborne microbial sampler. This batch deployment was intended to help the customer establish a grid-based microbial monitoring system for the workshop. The FKC-1B is designed based on the strict physical principle of isokinetic sampling, enabling it to accurately reflect the microbial concentration in the cleanroom. Its porous impaction structure optimizes the airflow path, ensuring that airborne microorganisms impact and adhere evenly to the surface of standard culture media at a stable initial velocity.
Customer Feedback
During the IQ/OQ (Installation Qualification / Operational Qualification) phase, the customer’s engineering validation team in the UAE reported that all 4 units demonstrated excellent flow consistency in continuous operation tests. On-site QA (Quality Assurance) personnel specifically noted that the device’s physical sampling head was extremely easy to disassemble, and after repeated 121°C high-temperature, high-pressure steam sterilization, it showed no physical deformation or surface corrosion, fully meeting the stringent material compliance requirements of local regulatory audits.
Summary (Key Technical Parameters)
The successful delivery of 4 units of the FKC-1B to the UAE market strongly validated the equipment’s suitability and stability under the strict GMP regulatory environment in the Middle East. The core technical parameters supporting compliance validation in this case are as follows:
